JEFFREY LEWIS & LOS BOLTS (NYC, Rough Trade Records) play a crazy, original mix of scuzzy urban indie-rock, literate lyrics and comic book punk, like a 21st Century mash-up of Sonic Youth, Pete Seeger and R. Crumb. Jeffrey has done tours in Europe and America and Australia and Asia and elsewhere (averaging over 100 gigs every year since 2001), as well as sometimes playing as the opening act for bands like the Mountain Goats, Daniel Johnston, Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks, The Fall, Pulp, Roky Erickson, The Vaselines and other luminaries. Jeffrey has released seven critically acclaimed albums on Rough Trade Records, in addition to occasional self-releases and projects on other labels (like K Records and Don Giovanni), and Jeffrey continues to self-publish his art and writing in an ongoing underground comic book series called Fuff. With current Los Bolts bandmates Brent (Moldy Peaches) Cole on drums and Mem (Cat Tatt) Pahl on bass, Jeffrey has recorded a new full-length album in Nashville with producer Roger Moutenot (Yo La Tengo, Lou Reed, Sleater-Kinney), with release date tba!

VIKING MOSES is adept at hiding beautiful, tender, and positive messages that are shrouded in mystery and melancholy. VM's latest album, Cruel Child, unfolds itself slowly; its foreboding and lonely trails growing lighter on subsequent listens, revealing hidden beauty and truth with every visit. The latest single, “In Servitude” is an epistolary poem, raw and fierce with increasing drive and complexity. Drudging chord progressions create a hypnotic mantra, while Viking Moses’s Phrygian melodies and wailing vocals are offered up in this dynamic sermon that beckons lonely listeners into the all-healing hands of Rock and Roll. “In Servitude” was mixed by Hunter Davidsohn (Producer: Porches, Frankie Cosmos, Sheer Mag), and the video was filmed by Baltimore film director Nick Hughes in the Marche region of Italy.
